The Monarch Manor Wines Pty Ltd in Australia was founded by the Scott family in the late 1980s. It has two large vineyards in the Adelaide Hills - Piccadilly Vineyard and Linda Vineyard, covering a total area of 50 hectares. It is one of the largest suppliers of high-quality grapes in the Adelaide Hills wine region. The Piccadilly Vineyard is located in the Piccadilly Valley at an altitude of 440-450 meters. Due to its cold climate in autumn and soil mainly composed of gray and brown medium to low fertility sandy soil, it is an ideal place for producing noble and elegant grape varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir. The Linda Vineyard is located in the northeast of the Adelaide Hills, with an altitude of approximately 360-400 meters. It is the latest discovered grape-growing paradise in the region, with slightly warmer climate and rich clay, yellow granite, and limestone soil, which is typical of the Rossa soil type. The surface of the limestone soil covering the soil is very thin and has good water permeability. Due to its rich nutrients and minerals, it is able to produce Australia's most famous red grape varieties such as Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.
